Breeding the same way than with basset hounds, that means a dog´s life for our pugs, we hope to offer you equilibrated and kind puppies to enjoy a lot of years with...

August 2006...

My first dog was a boxer and in my life I have had some boxers more. Eleven years ago, while breeding basset hound, I began to dream with one of this miniatures (I had always had relatively big dogs).

When, nearly three years ago, due to work and familiar circumstances, we moved to a little house with two big terraces but no garden I thought it was the moment to know one each other.

And I discovered a small-scale boxer, the ideal dog... Immediately arrived the second, the third, the fourth miniatures.. .

Learning with our pugs

Looking at my pugs, since they were small, running, jumping, playing was amazing. They are strong but not brutes, vitals but not troublemakers, agiles but careful, playful but not annoying.

Always walking before you, moving briskly, opening the way for you as if they knew where you´re going. At home, these tireless "sportsdogs" become "nice little doggies" from their owner... Always watching us, with surveillance of any our movement, they know all our customs.

With incredible smell, vision and hearing they are the perfect "inside guardians". When I´m not home and they stay alone with children their surveillance grow and their powerful voice for their small size can impose... For sure, they could bite no one... But they don´t bark for nothing and if they do it´s that there´s somebody waitng at the door.

Even if I think they haven´t a very obedient nature, just to please us to hear a "very well", to receive caress, or better, a cookie they will be the more disciplinated dogs in the world. A little bit obstinated when they want something, again and again they will try to see if we give up. One must be severe since pups with this aspect of their character because these imps have us very well controlled under this tender look...

They learn very quickly any order and to obey, anything you wish them to do, try to tell them... In some days they will do it, close a door, show you the way to the shops of the neighbourhood, every one with it´s name... That´s because these round and too big eyes seem to see everything... Do not try to search the coin, the screw that has just fallen, take a look at them, they already know where it is... They would find a needle in a hayloft. Over this point, caution, anything will finish in their bed, or worst, in their mouth.

They will always be near from you. And if not it´s because they are sleeping, deeply, after a day plenty of emotions until a new day to come...
